He'll be wearing his undress and *maybe* arriving in a vintage fire engine (friends dad has a RR phantom convertable so he wants to arrive in that) and other than that i cant think of anything!!!!
Maybe thought of cutting the cake with an axe... what do you think??

Heres some ideas for you:
Colour scheme: red, orange, yellow
Table centrepieces: plastic fire fighter helmets, with the top cut off and a floral arrangement placed inside them
Favours: mini fire engines
Stationery: incorporate a small fire engine into the design or have them made/make them on red card
Cake topper: personalised one of you and h2b in full uniform
Table names: after things like station, engine, blaze etc
Although this is an American site, it has a few ideas

Years ago one of his mates had some sort of fire extinquisher cocktail fountain, looked amazing. But no idea where it came from
They also had first dance to fireman Sam! I know that won't appeal to all, but actually it was great!

Red and silver might be good as colours and if your h2b wants to arrive in the car, you could maybe arrive in the fire engine.

Hello, just seen this reply and this is the cake i've got i found it ages ago and my cake maker is doing it for me (except the little girl as we haven't got kids yet). How cool is that cake? I've also got a lovely vintage fire engine (see picture) my H2B's grandad drove this when he was in the service and it's been beautifully restored.
