Not got many ideas of how to incorporate this though as it is quite difficult. So far I have got purple and red colours and the ideas of using roman numerals and having pictures of us in Rome around the venue
Anyone has any suggestions on what else I would greatly appreciate it

Hi! I've never really posted here, but i read the mag. I'm still floating around on wedding sites as i'm about to make hubby's cousins wedding invitations, i actually got married on January 5th. My theme was Celtic, Lord of the rings and Christmas. Sounds really odd i know, but it looked gorgeous! A bit Quirky but still really nice. I'd show pics but access to photobucket is restricted at work (even though work finished at 1 and i'm sat here waiting for hubby), so i can't get the link.
Ah well.
I had wanted a red and ivory wedding, but hubby's chosen kilt was green, so we had red, ivory and green. It was a good day.
EDIT: Managed to grab the first page address, though it won't let me go any further. If you go to the link below there's sub folders on the left. Official Wedding pics is our professional (formal) photographer. Offiacial wedding pics 2 is our amatuer (more reportage) photographer.

We have TWO wedding cakes - one is 3 square tiers with Claret & Pale Blue ribbon round them, two is 3 circle tiers with an extra fire engine cake attached with a fire fighter and bride also on top.
We also have a vintage fire engine that Mark's grand father actually drove when he was in the service.
We also have bubbles instead of confetti - this is West Ham theme.
The men (excep Mark) are wearing Claret neck wear with Pale Blue waist coats - West Ham theme again.
And i think that's it. Not many people know were having two cakes and what our transport is which will be a surprise.

We are renewing our vows shortly, not sure of the theme or place yet!
Really looking forward to it, will be more relaxed as our wedding was very formal.

the colours are green, pink and lemon
generally just quite a relaxed feel, but still quite traditional
we have glitter on the flowers (a mix of in season blooms such as roses, anemones and veronica), a funky cake, coloured napkins and pink champagne.
the reception is in a converted barn, with lots of fairy lights, trees and ivy
we are having a 3 course sit down dinner, then a bbq in the evening!

H2B is square so we now have a cookie cutter wedding with the odd sprinkling of my madness, so random elements that make no sense to anything else will appear just annoy H2B and keep me sane! If I had to be pinned down to define this marvellous and clearly elegant theme-ing style I would call it "normal with a hint of japanese, birdcage weirdness and vintage"
