Hi all,

I have absolutely no idea about flowers! I would LOVE to see pictures of your flowers, especially if your theme was fuschia & black like ours. My bridesmaid dresses are fuschia and just wondering what colour of flowers would go - bearing in mind its a December wedding. The men are wearing black kilts with fushica cravats and i'm thinking of a thistle for their buttonholes.

That's the same colour scheme we had. I will try to sort out the photos closer of the flowers as you cant really see them on this one. Flowers were carnations with black feathers and silver diamante's. Bridesmaids had similar but smaller with white carnations and black feathers.

Gerbera's come in a vibrant fuschia, maybe mixed with some black twigs for the table centres.

Loved the picture you sent me Retrocandy, thats the idea i'm thinking of, bright pink flowers/black feathers with crystals.

my colour scheme is also black, silver and hot pink.. : )
am thinking of going for pink cupcake sponge with black buttercream with silver balls... or does that seem a bit unappetizing?!

pictures are in my planning below....

i obsessed about black roses (rock chick!) so my bouquet was black white and ivory roses....

my bridesmaids had ivory roses / hot pink cala lillies (with hot pink ribbon) adults had black dresses with ivory sash, kids had ivory dress with black sash.

hubby had one ivory and one black rose for button hole and and ivory cravat.

rest of the men has ivory cala lilly, hot pink cravat.
it looked lush

we are having stargazer lillies for the pink - not having black though. orchids come in black and pink which is our other flower.

I saw a fab pic but i cant remember where i saw it, if i find it again i will let you know

Oh that sounds gorgeous 'stargazer lillies'. Are they expensive? I am going to look into flowers next wkend.
