I'm after some unusual ideas. My colour scheme is black white and diamonte and the theme is champagne (the drink not the colour)

I'm not sure now if there is anything else unusual i can do to set this apart from other weddings.

So far i have centrepieces of Champagne saucers (martini glasses) with diamontes and a single white lily in them.
the place settings are champagne corks with names in them
i'm having champagne bottle bubbles dotted around the tables
each table name will be a different brand of champagne
favours are champagne saucers with 5 dragees in them

any one got any other ideas? for anything - not just tables, but just thinking of things that are champagne themed - guest books, games, evening celebrations? i'm now stumped xx

you can have a quiz on the table during the meal about you and hubby, and the prize for the winning table is a bottle of champagne!

can't really think of anything else at the mo.

ooh there are those giant 6ft champagne bottle ballons, its like an arch with the chamapgne bubbles over flowing. or just normal size champagne bottle balloons or balloon weights......I think i need to stop talking about balloons now haha smile.gif

Good luck

Hello there,

What a lovely idea!! I have a champagne glass candle on my web site - I know you have already got favours but thought you might want a look anyway:)

I absolutely love the guest book!! I thought it was brilliant and so original!!
You could also get some done for you more personalised like with something that identifies you two and in your colour scheme, the lady that did my toppers would probably do something unusual like this for you.

The tower/fountaing chmpagne thing sounds really good too!! is that the one with lots of champagne glasses one on top of the other forming like a piramid?

If you want to do something with champagne cocktails I have a book with over 60 champagne cocktails; some names are quite unusual, so I thought I'd post some to see if they inspire any more ideas tongue.gif ,

long tall Sally
Disco dancer
daydreamer
james bond
long jump
dawn
midnight cocktail
lady luck
death in the afternoon
pick-me-up
the footman
diamond fizz
Flirtini (hehehe I like this one)
pearl cocktail
champagne pick-me-up (I wonder what was the other pick-me-up picking then?)
peacemaker
under the boardwalk

Maybe there's some potential with playing with some words there and the personalities of your guests...

Have fun! laugh.gif
