I'm getting married in June next year and am really struggling to decide on a colour theme. The venue is a 19th century manor house, but i wanted something quite fresh for the colour theme as its a summer wedding. The latest idea we've come up with is a mauve/aubergene colour, but im not sure what flowers would go with this for my bouquet and for the centre pieces. I was thinking the bridesmaids would have ivory/cream flowers, but i would like a bit of colour in my bouquet and on the tables as the chairs and table cloths are white.

Any suggestions would be appreciated

I had ivory flowers in my bouquet with a splash of purple. And I had ivory flowers on the table with the white tablecloths, it looked nice and classic and simple.

Are there any colours in the venue that you can take inspiration from? ie. if the reception room is red/green then perhaps purple wouldn't tie in with that....

Maybe you could get some ideas from Project Wedding? Was suggested to me a few weeks back and gave me loads of ideas!

The room we're getting married in is quite traditional and is mainly wooden panels with fire places, so its quite dark, so maybe the classic look on the tables would brighten it up.
