We had a silver and grey and white/ivory colour scheme and a cool crisp winter theme. My BMs wore platinum dresses with an ivory sash from Dessy.

I have almost exactly the same theme, but we're also using pale blues. smile.gif

I've had a few ideas around our Christmas theme. One was to have the favours in little boxes under a Christmas tree. My centerpieces are going to be huge vases filled with silver and blue baubles, maybe with some fairy lights depending on how that looks. I'll be making them myself so it should be reasonably cheap too.
I also saw in the real life wedding section some months ago a cake that the brides mother in law had made to make each tier look like a present. I went to the Bournemouth wedding fayre on Sunday and they had a couple designed in a similar way.
I've also seen baubles holding place names which looked good.

Silver/grey dresses are very hard to come by, and even when you find one it might not be the style you're after. Plenty of suppliers do dresses in a variety of colours, Dessy being the best one I've found so far, but have you thought about incorporating another colour? Apart from red and gold, most colours go very well with silver/ grey
