I am planning on having a sage green colour theme along with pink (pastel/dusky) and primrose yellow. Plan at the moment is for the bridesmaids to wear sage green dresses and then have pink/yellow bouquets to complement.

Do you think having three colours is too much?! Any advice or ideas much appreciated! wink.gif

No not at all, three colours will look lovely.
Why not have a little green foliage in their flowers to bring it all together?

We are having green and pink too! x x x x

Yes that's what I was thinking. Was considering going with the green and pink as that looks lovely but I am quite keen on the yellow too. It's so difficult!

NOT suggesting the product just a good example of the three colours smile.gif

We are also having sage green & pale pink!

Bridemaids have sage green dress, best men & dads have pink ties & groom will have green tie (if i can ever find one that is!!)

Nice light colours! I think the yellow will just compliment it more!

I think those colours will look lovely together.

We were originally having sage green and dusty pink, but we have brightened the colours up and added touches of sparkly silver!

Morning!

Found dresses in coast - it was fate! They are a simple strapless number with a little gold detailing around the bust area! I will try & upload a photo (once I work out how!!) I would say that it is quite a hard colour to find - I searched high & low before finding these!! Hope you have the same success x

Edited to say: Hope I did that correctly?! Hard to see depth of colour but they are very nice! x

JennJenn - that dress looks lovely. I have seen quite a few dresses in sage green on the internet but they may be out of my price range as haven't looked into it too much yet. Will be sure to check Coast out when we do look though!

MrsMcGleem - yeah I thought the same as you, that the yellow would maybe brighten it all up a bit. Just wasn't sure if it would get too complicated having three colours!! So much to think about...!! blink.gif

Hi Faye,
My adult bridesmaids are in a Mori Lee dress in colourway Celadon which is a very pale sage/green. It is a really pretty colur but he internet doesn't do it justice. I'm planning on having their bouquets in pink, green and cream.
If you do get your dresses from a bridal shop you could always ask for a fabric swatch take it into your flourists.
Godd luck darl...
Another Fay!! smile.gif

My colour scheme is going to be dusky pink, olive/sage green and ivory, I think it is a lovely scheme and ideal for spring/summer weddings.

My colour scheme is sage green, and having dusty pink roses in the bouquets. Also having little touches of yellow in there, in the form of rubber ducks laugh.gif

I collect them so it seemed appropriate to include them in the wedding. We decided to have a rubber duck with a name tag attached as place settings. Only down side is we bought 100 rubber ducks last week and H2B has taken to hiding them all over our flat!! I keep finding them in random places laugh.gif

love it - thats so funny, we have 4 tiny rubber duck magnets that we stick to the corners of our rooms, its the first thing friends look for when they get here...

we have a massive collection of rubber ducks all around the house.

I love the green, it is hopefully what i am having for my bm. think i am going to have mine with a bit of orange (rustic.autumnal type) but the pink sounds lovely

xx

I know they are beautiful but pricey, just looked on the vera wang website and cant see them so they must be an older collection. Maybe find a seamstress to copy them or look on ebay?

Hello there,

I think pastel colours are gorgeous together although you have to make sure they are all the hint of pastel (if you know what I mean) to make it work. Sage and pink together is really lovely!

I've got some pastel mini pails on my web site that you might want to have a look at for inspiration - it show how some of the colours work together.

Best Wishes

Karen

I'm having light sage green and light dusky pink although have been struggling for months to find any bridesmaid dresses within budget in light sage green - I am also considering a very light gold for the dresses too as I think it will fit nicely.

Love this colour theme!! x

Thanks

Have you tried Monsoon, I will be having my bridesmaids in this colour also, and as we are having an English Garden party i want them quite flowing I am finding the bridal shop dresses, for bridesmaids, a bit to fitted, plus Monsoon is much cheaper!!

I'm also having sage green, cream and a hint of pale pink. I'm trying my hardest to create a day that hasn't been done before, but it's so hard! It seems that every idea I have has already been done!
Think i'll have to give in and accept it!http://www.wedding-ideas-magazine.com/public/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif
