Hi

My dress is from monsoon - so you may have seem it- it is halter neck with sort of gold/bronzey and ivory panels. Now i need to know what flowers to go for. Its a low key wedding so no bridesmaids or anything - just need flowers (the wedding is abroad so cant communicate directly with the florist -so need to keep it simple)

I really wanted a really casual theme to the day. My fella is wearing jeans! I had planed on bright pink Gerberasas but i thought i'd have a ivory dress but the gold dress was too much of a bargin (£60) to miss out on. But really think iam going to have to change the pink theme now.

Do you think orange gerberas will go - or will it be a bit much colour wise- i think it might be?

I didnt really want plain cream/ivory (as had them for my previous wedding!)

But what else is there?

I think a dark red would look good with the gold, so perhaps dark red gerberas?

How about a bright purple and orange flowers?
or pale blue flowers like a bunch of hydrangea would look nice with gold, maybe throw some bronzy colours in with it to make it look really beachy?
I know you didnt want ivory flowers BUT what about getting some ivory foam roses or even real ones with the ends dipped in gold glitter?

Had a think and think maybe ivory will be best - as daughter has an ivory dress and thought could get husband to wear cream shirt and got son a beige linen suit so can all tie in. whay do u think?
