Im getting married in a slate caven which its totaly gorg . But i would like in incorprate the slate spme how into the wedding. i would have name places made out of slate but these are v expensive amd im not haveing a formal table plan. Any one got any ideas.

hi
there is a slate mine (was going to say farm !!!
) in the lake district (not sure where but can find out) and i think you can buy off cuts - of you could find a slate area and go for a walk and "find" some and take them home, you could the get them ingraved or simular, if you got small peices you could incorp them into the flowers hang them from the reception.
i dont think you need a formal table plan to have table names,
you can also but slate tea light holders, use slate presents for you BMs etc,
or slate colours.
ooo so many ideas.
