Hi all

I very excitedly ordered my dress yesterday - a beautiful Maggie Sottero dress. The colour of it is pearl...a lovely colour but I'm not wondering what colour scheme would look nice with it.

I was originally keen on burnt orange but I'm not sure that burnt orange would show the colour of my dress off to its best advantage....
My dress is Samantha (see link below) but the pic only shows it in ivory.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated!! Nb. I'm not a 'pastels' girl -much more into brighter colours...

Pretty dress! The pearl colour is really pretty too - how about a chocolate brown to go with it? Ok it's not a bright colour but it's not a pastel either and I think it would work really well with the pearl. Plus it would look great for an autumn wedding.

i was goig to say chocolate brown! plus then you could hqve accents of burnt orange in there...... though i dont think the orange would be that bad either.... Or what about gold?

Chocolate brown or pink? . I think opposite would be nice rather than pastels which would blend in ( but you don't like anyway). Opposites would make it stand out more. So brown or black x
