Hello fellow brides-to-be!

This is my first post on the WI forums...didn't quite know where to say hello, so thought I'd post on here regarding my choice of colours and see what you all think!!....

My bridesmaid is going to be wearing a gorgeous strapless chiffon royal-blue coloured dress and will be carrying an orange bouquet (most like gerberas, but we will see...) I will have a matching, slightly larger bouquet, and the men will have orange button-hole flowers. They will be wearing navy suits (although theyre very dark and look almost black) with ivory waistcoats and my groom will have an ivory cravat, to match my dress, whereas the rest of the men will have royal-blue cravats to match my bridesmaids dress.
My dress is ivory and s~t~u~n~n~i~n~g!! I cant wait to wear it...although the wedding is 8months away yet and although im wishing it here...I dont want it to go too quick as Id like to loose a bit of weight first hehee!!

Anyway, look forward to chatting to you all!

Cara x

Hi Cara and welcome to the forum!

Your colour scheme sounds gorgeous - I especially love the idea of navy blue suits with orange buttonholes, I think they'll look great!

Hi
Welcome to the forum. I've only joined a few weeks ago and already I'm addicted to reading all the new posts.
My bridemaids dresses are a bright shaphire blue, but I can't quite make up my mind yet what colour of flowers to put with them. The orange gerbras sound lovely. I might have to steal your idea!

Great colour choice, but then again I'm biased. Have a look at my planning pics! wink.gif

Sapphire blue and orange will look stunning together, I've attached a couple of pics for your viewing pleasure smile.gif

No way! Thats my theme too! I'm looking for a shade of blue similar to Dessy's colour 'sailor' though which is pretty close to a Royal Blue and my bridesmaids will be carrying orange gerberas whereas I will be carrying tiger lillies smile.gif

How strange we have all chosen the same colours smile.gif
