Hi,

I having a sweet themed wedding reception, on each table will be a cake stand (http://www.thebakingcompany.co.uk/ProductDetails.asp?ProductID=684) with different sweets in. I was hoping other people might have some help or ideas to go along with theme.

Cool theme, our favours were a sweetie bar with our favourite sweets from when we were children. Are you going for any specific colours?

Our wedding is heading towards sweet themed. We are going to have a glass vase on each table filled with lemon bon bons and then have lollies sticking out the top of them. Instead of place cards we were going to buy yellow striped candy bags and write the guests name on. Guests can then fill up their candy bags with sweets and take them home. We are also going to decorate each layer of the wedding cake with lemon bon bons. Hopefully this will all look good on the day.

We are not have a certain colour sweets but our colour theme for the rest of wedding is cadburys purple.

We have also decided to go with pic&mix bags as the place card/favour.

cool gift for the bridesmaids could be this funkey M and M pendent
totally over them.
You can get 'Last Rolo' necklaces as well

sounds like we are having a very cimilar wedding, our colours are lilac and dark (cadburys) purple.

we are also having a sweet theme!! each table will have a vase with a different sweet in instead of a table name or number!!

my cousin is making a giant purple dolly mixture cake for us, the stationary is all sweet themed and we are having love heart favours.
