Do you HAVE to have a theme?

Im really not sure if I've got a theme as such.
I've got colours. Pale yellow & blue. But I don't have a 'theme'. Every mag I've looked at/bought keeps saying I have to have a theme. I don't think I have one. I've pretty much done everything, so where could I get my 'theme' in?
Thank you

If you don't want a theme then don't have one! We were very like you in that we had colours rather than a theme. I had butterflies on the cake and invitations, but not sure thats enough to be called a theme.
Other than that it was just black and white! We quite enjoyed our mismatched day and certainly didn't have anyone sitting there saying it'd have looked better if it was all pirate themed, or english garden themed... (No offence to anyone WITH those themes, illustration purposes only)
Go with what you want! xx

I'm not fussed on a theme. I'm getting married in a woodland in May so the woods will pretty much provide the theme! I'll probably add green and bits of pink around as I like that colour combination and it will fit with the season. Just go with what you are happy with, there's no rules
