Hi
I've posted a similar topic before, but I still can't decide on what colour to put my bridesmaids in, my dress is pale gold almost like champagne, i'm getting married in June 2010 so i was hoping for paler colours or do i go for bold? i was thinking of putting ivory with the gold so i need ideas for the third or even fourth colour! what colours are you having or had if you wore gold? Please help x

Hi
I wore gold for my March wedding. My bridesmaids wore pale green and the boys were in grey suits with green cravats. I think it looked fresh and suited the spring wedding.

im having a very pale gold dress (see planning pics, but please excuse my awful fringe! LOL)
Were having deep red/burgundy bridesmaids dresses but ours is a winter wedding, i think a lovely pale green or brown too, like the other girls have suggested. Perhaps if you didnt want a chocolate brown you could go for a more toffee/fudge colour, if you wanted to keep it subtle.

My dress is coffee/antique champagne coloured, my 7 bms are all wearing ivory with purple sashes, men with purple waistcoats and purple cravats, all flowers are ivory and purple. My dress matches nothing, i gave up trying to match anything to it but my florist said thats how it should be to stand out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My dress is pale gold too and my BM is in cornflower blue. Sounds awful but looks ace. I was going to go for chocolate brown but saw this instead.

My sister wore a gold dress and also had her bridesmaids in cornflower blue, it looked absolutely stunning. The men all wore dark suits and ties to match the bridesmaid whilst her husband wore a gold tie to match her dress.

My dress is a light gold/champagney colour (can't wait to wear it!!) - my bridesmaids are wearing red, but will have light metallic coloured shoes and accessories (can't decide on gold or silver yet), and maybe ivory coloured shawls round their shoulders.
Sage green sounds lovely, but you can make any colour work depending on the rest of the theme of the day!

My theme will hopefully involve pale gold and plum purple but might end up with a champagne coloured dress to go with my theme ir an ivory to stand out - not sure really as i haven't properly looked but been told that its a very good choice of colours - I think so anyway.
