Autumn Theme So many colours

We're getting married in November and are having an autumn theme. So colours are browns, russets, coppers, dark reds, etc...
I'm just a bit nervous about buying things seperately really (a lot of the weddingg is being provided by ebay). How do I know everything will look right? Has anyone else had this colour theme? I'm worried that if i buy something in brown, something else in red, etc, that it's all going to look like a real mish mash when I put it together.
Did anyone else have these worries, regardless of colour scheme?
I need to start buying stuff, but am holding back 'just in case' but I really need to bite the bullet soon. Any help would be much appreciated.

I had a bit of trial and error with my accessories and didn't use everything I bought where I'd changed my mind when matching other things.
I got all the little bits from ebay too, so didn't lose out much when I didn't use something, just sold it on again.
Have a look at this link for some ideas http://images.google...m...mages&gbv=2
It is hard to imagine how it'll all look, but it does all come together in your mind eventually!

To be honest, it's such a beautiful theme (I love autumn) that I don't think you can go too wrong! Good luck xx

I always knew I wanted an Autumn theme wedding with it being in September and also didnt know which colour to start with but once I found this picture I based the colours around this and it just all fell into place ....
(hope this works, first time ive uploaded pics and without the help of hubby2b lol)
I think this will probably happen with you too, you'll just find a key piece or picture and match to that
good luck

I wouldnt worry about it looking missmatched at all, think about autumn the leaves turn all sorts of different shades and look beautifull, maybe you could incoperate some silk autumn leaves on the tables? If think the browns, coppers ect will be fine the reds will also be fine if you try and stick to the dark/medium shades nothing too bright. most off all trust yourself if you think it will go, then go for it.
best of luck xxxxx

Im getting married end of oct so im having a natural themes wedding but with autumnal colours, my main colour will be emerald green with light green and burnt orange as an accent.
I to am worrying though that things could end up looking a bit of a mish mash! However i think its been said before but lots of ivory will brighten it all up a bit but it all goes well and hopefully things won't clash.

Don't know if you would be interested but during my research I found these autumn/leaf-themed favours:-

We are getting married in October with an autumn theme! But the variety of colours is one of the reasons that I love it! Autumn does not have set colours, it is a range of rich vibrant red, browns and oranges, so even if the napkins do not match the invitation exactly, you would struggle to find two matchin leaves in autmn.
Hope this helps and i have not ranted - its my first post you see!

sounds beautiful!!
I had an october wedding and was originally thinking i'd wear a pale gold dress and have red and orange. Then changed it to purple and orange. The changed it to emerald green dresses and theme with orange and red flowers, and then changed to emerald green with pink and white flowers as i had an ivory dress!
I kept to my main colour of dark green and literally only had pink in the flowers and as coloured water in the centerpieces to contrast against the green x

I started off as having a pine cone theme (getting married in October) this then turned into a very natural theme!
Pine cones, small tree branch slices, brown & cream leaves ( i very easily sprayed green craft leaves with spray from B & Q) & cream vintage style rose buds. I think as long as you have the theme, which is Autumn, you can then have any combination,we have various shades of browns for the table & it all works together really well.
To keep costs down i brought luxury pot pourii from BHS which has bruch balls & various other natural pieces in it & am going to put it in long glass vases for the centre piece,am suprised how good it really looks!! without costing a fortune!
My dress is latte colour with taupe sash & the bridesmaids taupe dresses with latte sach's with the men wearing prince edward brown suits,i cant wait,am so excited!!!

Autumn is a great time (and fantastic colours) for getting married. I am getting married at the end of November this year. BM dresses are bronze and my groom has choosen brown suits, so everyone should fit in nicely. As other's have mention, the colours we see in autumn never match, and it will feel more natural having a slight variation. Stick with your ideas.
I am having troubles in thinking of autumn names for the tables. I would rather not have numbers but am stuck with what to call the seven tables?? ANy ideas??
Thanks ladies, nadsx
